Laboratory Services
ST AUGUSTINE MEDICAL LABORATORY LTD, the provider of a full laboratory services is situated at St Clair Medical Centre and GoodHealth Centre.
St Augustine Medical Laboratory is noted and recognized for its INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS.
The test menu is constantly revised and updated with the latest investigations, all validated and incorporated into the very stringent External Proficiency Testing Service mandated by St Augustine Medical Laboratory and the Accreditation body.
The Phlebotomists are qualified, trained and under competent experienced supervisors, who are guided by internationally recognized Laboratory policies and protocols. The Medical Laboratory Director, a graduate in Chemical Pathology from Leeds University is well qualified for the position and possesses significant expertise and experience.
St Augustine Medical Laboratory has attained ISO 15189 accreditation status since 2008. A complete laboratory service is available.
Doctors can have their reports delivered directly to their offices. An emergency (STAT) service is also available.

Radiology
With the aid of state-of-the-art technology, trained radiographers use basic x-ray procedures as well as advanced x-ray techniques to reveal injuries, abnormalities and diseases not visible by other means. Patients will receive investigations and treatment with the most modern medical equipment, which is fully properly and regularly maintained.
The radiology experts at Medcorp Limited also perform medical ultrasound (also known as diagnostic sonography or ultrasonography by using diagnostic imaging techniques based on the application of ultrasound.
CT Scan Imaging
Medcorp Limited has a wide array of imaging capabilities including CT scans. The GE 64 Slice CT Whole body scanner is very modern in CT technology allowing the capture of high resolution, cardiac and neuro images. This scanner is used for your Calcium Scoring Test and Virtual Coronary Angiogram.
CT scans and other image-based tests are available from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and beyond in special circumstances.
Endoscopy procedures
The endoscopy unit is equipped with a procedure room and other facilities for both in-patient and out-patient investigations. The unit offers a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including but not limited to gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound.
The unit offers a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and is staffed by a team of experienced endoscopy nurses, the nursing staff working in close collaboration with expert surgeons and physicians. All reports are interpreted by our highly skilled professionals and made available to your referring physician. The unit is probably the most advanced of its kind in the country and staff is committed to ensuring that the highest standard of clinical care is delivered.
